How is the glass cleaned?

The faceted optical glass can be wiped with a soft microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or smudges, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works well. Avoid spraying glass cleaner directly onto the fitting — spray onto the cloth instead to prevent liquid entering the bulb socket.

Can it be used as a nightlight?
