Description

The Alfa S is a 7W LED magnetic track downlight with adjustable colour temperature from 2700K warm white through to 6000K cool white, housed in a white powder-coated aluminium cylinder. The downlight attaches magnetically to a 48V DC track system, allowing the fitting to be positioned, repositioned and removed without tools. The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible 48V DC dimmer.

Designed for retail displays, gallery walls, kitchen task lighting and commercial spaces where flexibility matters, the magnetic track system allows multiple downlights to be spaced along a single track run and adjusted as room layouts change. The 53mm diameter cylinder keeps a low visual profile on the ceiling while the 96mm drop from track to fitting base suits standard ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. The adjustable CCT allows one fitting to serve multiple roles: warm 2700K for hospitality and residential ambient lighting, neutral 4000K for office task lighting, or cool 6000K for retail product displays.

The white aluminium construction dissipates heat effectively, prolonging LED life, and the IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments. The cylinder body rotates on the magnetic mount, allowing the beam to be angled towards walls, displays or workspaces. Maytoni covers the Alfa S with a 5-year warranty. The 48V DC track system requires a separate driver and track (sold separately) — this product is the downlight fitting only.

No. The Alfa S is designed exclusively for Maytoni's 48V DC magnetic track system. It will not attach to 240V mains-voltage track systems or other manufacturers' magnetic tracks without adapter compatibility. The track and driver are sold separately.

Is the fitting adjustable once mounted?

Yes. The magnetic mount allows the downlight to be slid along the track to any position and removed without tools. The cylinder body also rotates on the mount, allowing the beam to be angled towards walls, displays or specific surfaces.

What dimmer is needed?

The Alfa S requires a 48V DC dimmer compatible with the Maytoni magnetic track system. Standard 240V mains dimmers will not work. Consult the track system specification or contact us for compatible dimmer options.
