Description

The Alfa is a 7W LED magnetic track downlight with adjustable colour temperature from 2700K to 6000K, housed in a black aluminium cylinder measuring 53mm in diameter and 104mm in height. The fitting mounts magnetically onto a compatible 48V DC magnetic track system (track sold separately) via an integrated track adaptor, allowing tool-free attachment and repositioning along the track.

Designed for residential and commercial track lighting installations, the Alfa suits living rooms, kitchens, retail displays and office spaces where adjustable accent or task lighting is needed. The CCT adjustment allows the colour temperature to be switched between warm white (2700K), neutral white (4000K) and cool daylight white (6000K) via a controller or switch, without changing the fitting. The dimmable LED works with compatible dimmers to adjust brightness from full output down to lower ambient levels.

The black aluminium body provides a cylindrical downlight form that projects 104mm from the track when mounted, with the light beam directed downward through a 53mm aperture. The CRI 90 rating means colours under the light appear accurate and natural, making the Alfa suitable for areas where colour rendering matters, such as art display, clothing retail or food preparation. The IP20 rating limits use to dry interior spaces only.

The magnetic track system operates on 48V DC low voltage, requiring a compatible magnetic track and power supply (both sold separately). Once the track is installed, individual Alfa downlights clip magnetically into position and draw power through the track contacts, with no exposed wiring or screw fixings visible on the finished installation. The 5-year warranty covers the integrated LED and the fitting body.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

The CCT adjustment is controlled via a compatible dimmer or controller connected to the track power supply. Some Maytoni magnetic track systems include a controller that switches between 2700K, 4000K and 6000K. Check the track system specification for control options.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 7W LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is covered by a 5-year warranty. At end of life, the entire fitting is replaced.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating limits the Alfa to dry interior spaces only. It is not rated for use in bathrooms, outdoor locations or areas where moisture is present.
