Description

The Alboran is a 33cm single pendant light built from overlapping panels of white-finished metal, arranged in asymmetrical folds that form a conical shade. The panels wrap around a central E27 lamp holder (bulb sold separately), leaving narrow gaps between each layer where light escapes and casts graduated shadows on the surfaces above and below.

Designed for kitchen islands, hallway entrances, dining tables in smaller rooms, and as part of grouped installations over breakfast bars or counters, the Alboran works in spaces with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3m. The drop adjusts between 300mm and 1500mm on installation, allowing the pendant to be set 600-800mm above a worktop or table depending on ceiling height. The white finish on the metal panels reflects ambient light during the day and creates a soft backlit effect when the bulb is on.

Each panel is pressed from a single sheet of metal, giving the shade a clean edge with no visible welds or joints. The layered construction adds depth without bulk — the 33cm diameter sits comfortably above a 900mm-wide table or a 600mm kitchen island section. At 1.6kg the fitting has enough weight to hang straight on the cable without swaying, while still being light enough to suspend from a standard UK ceiling rose.
