Description

The Albedo is a 3-light bar pendant from Ideal Lux with a 620mm elliptical base in white enamelled metal and three blown glass diffusers suspended on individual cables. Each diffuser is acid-etched to scatter light evenly, producing a soft ambient glow rather than direct downlight. The three E27 bulb fittings accept standard screw-base LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 60W each (bulbs sold separately).

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and breakfast bars, the 620mm bar length suits surfaces between 1.2m and 1.8m long. The 530mm total drop from ceiling to the base of the diffusers works in rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights, positioning the pendants 700-900mm above the worktop or table depending on installation height preference. The IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor locations.

The white enamelled finish on the metal base provides a clean, matt surface that pairs with white or neutral cabinetry and contrasts against darker worktops. Each blown glass diffuser measures approximately 170mm in projection, giving a soft conical form that diffuses light in all directions rather than directing it sharply downward. The dimmable fittings allow output to be adjusted via a compatible wall dimmer, making the pendant suitable for both task lighting during food preparation and softer ambient light during dining.
