Description

Albavilla is a recessed LED profile in white aluminium, a slim rectangular fitting with a single row of small LED cells, each set within its own black louvred surround. It is 28.7cm long, 6.8cm wide and 7cm tall, and its integrated LEDs give 2,500 lumens of neutral white light at 4000K. All you see once it is fitted is the white trim and that neat black row, so the light reads as a crisp, graphic line in the ceiling rather than a lamp.

We see it working hardest in studies, home offices, hallways and living rooms, and in shops or galleries where you want a run of clear light without a pendant or a spotlight in the way. Neutral white at 4000K is bright and crisp without the yellow cast of warmer lamps, which suits reading, desk work and displaying objects. With 2,500 lumens from a fitting this compact, it gives real working light, and several can be set in a row to follow a corridor or the length of a counter.

The body is aluminium, a light metal that does not rust. The fitting weighs 0.64KG and is held in place by spring clips; it needs a recess depth of 11.5cm and a cut-out of 5.2cm, so check the space within your ceiling before you choose it.
