The Albavilla is a recessed LED profile in white aluminium: a neat rectangular downlight that sits flush in the ceiling, with its LEDs in a single row, each set back inside its own black square cell. It is 15.4cm long, 6.8cm wide and 7cm high, and weighs 0.35KG. The integrated LEDs give 1,250 lumens at 4000K, a neutral white that is crisper than the warm glow of most table lamps, which suits rooms where you read or work. We suggest it for dry rooms indoors.

It suits a hallway, a landing, a living room, a study or a home office, anywhere you want good light but no pendant or shade. A run of them along a corridor draws a clean line of light, and a single light above a desk puts the brightness where you need it. Because the body is recessed, only the slim white trim shows, so it works well in a room with a low ceiling or a plain modern scheme.
