Description

The Alaska Mini is a 907mm diameter ceiling fan with integrated LED light, retractable blades and remote control, finished in a wood-grain brown that pairs with warm-toned interiors. The integrated 70W LED delivers 2500lm output with adjustable colour temperature from 2700K warm white through to 5000K cool white, dimmable via the supplied remote control or smartphone app. The four blades retract into the body when the fan is switched off, leaving a compact 430mm circular profile flush to the ceiling.

Designed for bedrooms, kitchens, home offices and smaller living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4-3m, the Alaska Mini runs a DC motor that provides quiet air circulation at three speed settings without the mechanical hum of AC motors. The fan and light operate independently, allowing lighting without airflow or airflow without light depending on the season. The remote control sits on a wall-mounted bracket when not in use, and the app control (iOS and Android compatible) allows scheduling and dimming from another room.

The brown wood-effect finish covers the motor housing and blade surfaces, giving the fitting a warmer appearance than white or metallic ceiling fans. When the blades are retracted the fitting sits 355mm from the ceiling; when extended during operation the total drop increases to 480mm including the blade span. At 6.2kg the fan requires a ceiling joist or a reinforced plasterboard fixing rated to carry at least 10kg. Installation requires connection to a standard UK ceiling rose with live, neutral and earth — no additional wiring for separate fan and light circuits.

The 120° beam angle from the LED panel distributes light across the room rather than creating a focused downlight pool, making the fitting suitable as primary lighting in rooms up to 15m². The tuneable white LED allows the colour temperature to be shifted warmer in the evening (2700-3000K) for relaxation or cooler during the day (4000-5000K) for task-focused activities. The five-year warranty covers both the motor and LED driver.
