The Alaska is an 82cm 8-light chandelier with eight faceted glass shades mounted on radiating satin nickel arms, designed for dual installation as either a suspended chandelier or a semi-flush ceiling light. Each glass shade combines frosted and clear panels in an angular geometry that scatters light while maintaining a defined silhouette. The satin nickel finish on the metal framework provides a soft brushed surface that reduces glare and complements both warm and cool interior palettes.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and entrance halls with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.2m, the Alaska offers installation flexibility through its adjustable drop. As a suspended chandelier the drop ranges from 490mm to 770mm, positioning the fitting 650-850mm above a dining table in typical residential ceiling heights. The semi-flush configuration reduces the drop to approximately 490mm, making it suitable for lower ceilings where a full suspension would intrude on headroom. The eight SGU10 bulbs are included and rated at 9W each, delivering 2700K warm white light at a total 72W power draw. The faceted glass shades direct light both downward and outward through the angled clear panels, creating textured shadow patterns on surrounding walls. Yes. The Alaska can be installed either as a suspended chandelier with an adjustable drop of 490-770mm, or as a semi-flush ceiling light with the minimum 490mm drop. The dual-mount design makes it suitable for rooms with lower ceilings where a full suspension would reduce headroom.

Are the bulbs included?

Yes. The Alaska includes eight SGU10 9W bulbs rated at 2700K warm white. The bulbs are not user-replaceable in the same way as standard GU10 bulbs — refer to the manufacturer's guidance or contact us for replacement information.

Is the Alaska dimmable?

No. The included SGU10 bulbs are not dimmable and the fitting is not compatible with dimmer switches.
