Description

The Alaska is a 440mm square flush ceiling or wall light with an antique brass frame shaped in concave curves around a frosted glass diffuser. Three GU10 bulbs sit behind the glass, casting 2700K warm white light through the frosted panel for ambient room illumination. The frame stands 60mm proud of the wall or ceiling surface.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and living rooms with standard or low ceiling heights, the Alaska functions equally as a ceiling fixture or wall-mounted fitting. The 440mm footprint suits rooms 3-4m wide where a single central light provides the main illumination. When mounted to a ceiling, the fixture sits close enough to avoid head clearance issues in rooms under 2.4m height. When wall-mounted, it provides ambient wash light without glare at eye level.

The antique brass frame has a brushed, slightly aged patina that softens the metallic finish and pairs with warm-toned timber furniture, cream walls and traditional brass hardware. The concave curves on all four sides create a sculptural profile that reads as decorative rather than purely functional. The frosted glass hides the bulb outlines and spreads the light evenly across the diffuser surface. The three GU10 bulbs are included and rated at 9W each for a combined 27W output.
