Alaska 11cm Faceted Glass Pendant Light - Antique Brass

The Alaska is an 11cm faceted glass pendant light with an antique brass ceiling canopy and a single GU10 socket housed inside a multi-faceted clear glass shade. The shade's angled facets refract light through the glass edges, casting geometric highlights onto surrounding surfaces when the 9W 2700K CFL bulb is lit. The faceted form gives the pendant a cut-crystal appearance without the weight or fragility of actual crystal.

Designed for bedside tables, hallway lighting, clustered groups above kitchen islands or dining tables, and any application where a compact decorative pendant suits the space. The 200-2000mm adjustable drop allows installation in standard 2.4m ceiling heights with the pendant hanging 600-900mm above a worktop, or in double-height entrance halls where the drop can extend to fill the vertical space. The 110mm shade diameter keeps the footprint compact for narrow hallway runs or pairs above a 1.2m console table.

The antique brass finish on the ceiling rose and cable stem shows darker patina tones compared to polished or brushed brass, pairing well with traditional, transitional and warm-toned contemporary interiors. Is the bulb included?

Yes. The pendant ships with a 9W GU10 CFL bulb rated at 2700K warm white. The bulb is non-dimmable as per the specification table.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

Yes. The cable allows adjustment from 200mm minimum to 2000mm maximum drop during installation. The cable can be shortened to suit ceiling height and the desired hanging position above furniture or worktops.

What's the difference between antique brass and polished brass?

Antique brass has a darker, oxidised patina with brown and bronze tones, giving a warmer and less reflective finish than polished brass. Polished brass appears bright gold and highly reflective. Antique brass suits traditional and transitional interiors where a softer metal tone is preferred.
