The Akira is a 400mm square pendant light built around an antique brass frame with a cream fabric shade suspended inside it. The brass frame forms a clean geometric outline above the shade, with the metal's warm tonal finish providing structural definition while the fabric softens the light output from four E27 bulbs fitted inside.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Akira provides ambient and decorative light across a 2-3m diameter zone. The adjustable drop runs from 540mm minimum to 2000mm maximum, allowing the pendant to be positioned 700-900mm above a dining surface or worktop depending on ceiling height. The square profile suits rectangular tables and islands better than circular pendants.

The antique brass finish on the frame has a slightly aged, satin tone rather than the high-shine reflectivity of polished brass, pairing comfortably with both warm-toned woods and cooler greys. The cream fabric shade is taut across the square frame, giving the pendant a crisp geometric silhouette when viewed from below or the side. At 3kg, the fitting carries enough presence to hold visual weight above a 1.8-2.4m table without overwhelming smaller spaces.

Yes. The suspension cable allows adjustment from 540mm to 2000mm drop. The height is set during installation by feeding the cable through the ceiling rose, but can be re-adjusted later if needed by accessing the ceiling fixing point.
