The Akira is a 400mm square pendant light built around an antique brass metal frame with a black fabric shade suspended inside. Four E27 bulb holders sit within the shade, casting light downward through the fabric and upward through the open top of the frame. The antique brass finish has a warm, slightly aged tone that sits between polished brass and darker bronze, giving the metalwork a softer appearance under daylight and incandescent sources.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls where a compact multi-light pendant provides both ambient and task lighting, the Akira works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upward. The 540mm minimum drop positions the shade approximately 1.7-1.9m above floor level in a standard-height room, while the 2000mm maximum drop allows the pendant to be lowered over a dining table or island worktop where the underside of the shade sits 700-900mm above the surface. The cable and suspension system is fully adjustable on installation.

The black shade is made from a cotton-polyester fabric with a matt finish that hides the bulbs from direct view while diffusing light evenly downward. The interior is lined with frosted white backing fabric, which reflects some light back into the shade structure and increases overall output. The frame itself weighs 3kg when fitted with four standard E27 LED bulbs, giving the pendant a solid, grounded presence without requiring additional ceiling reinforcement beyond a standard UK ceiling rose.
