Description

The Akira is a 3-light wall light built around an antique brass frame that extends into three arms, each supporting a black fabric shade with a sculpted clear glass backplate visible behind the shade opening. The frame mounts to the wall via a square brass backplate and projects 200mm from the wall surface when fitted.

Designed for living rooms, hallways and bedrooms where wall lighting needs to provide both ambient fill and visual interest, the Akira suits traditional, transitional and modern classical interiors. Each arm takes an E14 bulb (sold separately), giving a combined maximum output dependent on bulb wattage chosen. The fitting is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, allowing output to be varied from full brightness for task lighting to low mood light in the evening.

The antique brass finish shows a brushed surface with darker tonal variation in the recesses, giving the metal a lived-in warmth that pairs well with wood furniture and warm wall colours. The black fabric shades provide a defined contrast against lighter walls and absorb glare from the bulbs, while the sculpted glass backplates add a decorative layer behind the shade openings.
