Description

The Aire is a sculptural table lamp built around three entwined polished chrome arms rising from a 190mm circular base, standing 350mm tall. Each arm houses a single G4 halogen capsule bulb (included), creating a triple-point light source that reflects and multiplies across the high-gloss chrome surfaces. The lamp weighs 1.3kg and runs on mains voltage without requiring a transformer.

Designed for console tables, bedside tables in contemporary bedrooms, and reception desks where decorative accent lighting is needed, the Aire works as both sculpture and task light. The three arms twist around each other in a helix formation, so the lamp presents differently from different viewing angles around the room. The polished chrome finish reflects nearby colours and light sources, making the lamp visually responsive to its surroundings.

Each G4 socket takes a 20W halogen capsule bulb, giving 60W total output across all three arms. The lamp ships with ultra-white halogen bulbs fitted and is not compatible with G4 LED or CFL retrofits due to the driver requirements. The circular base provides stability on smooth surfaces and the chrome is maintenance-free apart from occasional fingerprint removal with a microfibre cloth.

Can the bulbs be replaced with LED G4s?

No. The Aire is designed for halogen G4 capsule bulbs only and is not compatible with G4 LED or CFL retrofits. It ships with three ultra-white halogen bulbs fitted.

Is it dimmable?

No. The lamp does not support dimmer switches and should be wired to a standard on/off mains supply.

What surface does it suit?

The 190mm circular base sits flat on console tables, bedside tables, desks and sideboards. The 1.3kg weight provides stability on smooth surfaces but may benefit from a non-slip mat on highly polished or glass surfaces.

How is the chrome cleaned?

Wipe with a dry microfibre cloth to remove fingerprints and dust. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid household sprays or polishes that can damage the chrome plating.
