Description

The Aethera is a wall-mounted reading light with a brushed brass circular backplate and extending arm, paired with a tapered black fabric shade. A single E27 bulb fitting sits inside the shade, which measures approximately 160mm at its widest point and 140mm tall. The backplate houses an integrated USB charging socket, allowing devices to be charged without occupying nearby mains outlets.

Designed for bedside positions, reading corners next to armchairs, and task lighting in home offices or studies, the Aethera projects 160mm from the wall when the arm is extended perpendicular. The shade directs light downward and outward, making it suitable for reading without creating glare on screens or surfaces directly ahead. The lamp is dimmable when paired with a compatible E27 LED bulb and appropriate dimmer switch on the lighting circuit.

The brushed brass finish on the metalwork provides a warm mid-tone that sits between polished brass (which reflects more light) and antique brass (which has darker patination). The black fabric shade is backed with a fireproof PVC lining that prevents heat transfer to the outer fabric layer.
