The Aethera is a white floor lamp built around a powder-coated metal column and a circular base, topped with a 280mm diameter cylindrical shade wrapped in white fabric over a fireproof PVC inner. The single E27 bulb fitting inside the shade (bulb sold separately) casts light down and out through the fabric, diffusing it into soft ambient illumination rather than directional task light.
