The Aethera is a 70cm diameter cylinder lampshade wrapped in white fabric over a fireproof PVC core. The cylindrical form runs parallel from top to bottom, creating a drum shape that suits large floor lamps, pendant fittings and table lamps where a substantial shade is needed to balance the base or frame.

Designed for statement-scale lighting in living rooms, bedrooms and hospitality settings, the 70cm diameter makes this shade appropriate for floor lamps with bases 40-50cm wide, or ceiling pendants hung over dining tables 1.8m or longer. The fabric wrap diffuses light evenly in all directions rather than focusing it downwards, providing ambient fill rather than task lighting. The shade fits standard British lampshade carriers with either duplex or spider fittings.

The white fabric presents as a neutral off-white under daylight, warming slightly under incandescent or warm-white LED bulbs to a soft cream tone. The PVC core holds the cylindrical shape without sagging and carries a fireproof rating, making it safe for use with bulbs up to 60W.
