Description

The Aethera is a dual-function wall light combining a white fabric drum shade with an E27 bulb fitting and a separate adjustable LED reading arm. The circular white backplate holds a horizontal arm supporting the drum shade, with a flexible gooseneck LED reading light mounted below it and a USB charging port set into the backplate face. The reading arm delivers focused 3W LED light at 3000K, while the main E27 fitting provides ambient room lighting.

Designed for bedside use in bedrooms and reading corners in living rooms, the Aethera allows the main E27 bulb to provide soft ambient light across the room while the gooseneck reading light directs task illumination onto a book or device without disturbing a partner. The USB port on the backplate charges phones and tablets overnight without needing a separate wall adapter. The reading arm flexes through approximately 180 degrees, allowing the light to be angled down onto a pillow for reading in bed or across a chair arm in a sitting position.

The white metal backplate, arm and fabric shade give the fitting a clean, neutral appearance that suits contemporary and minimalist bedrooms. The 205mm projection from the wall positions the drum shade clear of bedside furniture, while the reading light extends far enough to reach the edge of a standard single or double bed. The E27 bulb is sold separately, allowing you to choose your preferred wattage and colour temperature for the ambient light component.

Frequently Asked

Does the reading light work independently from the main light?

The Aethera has separate switching for the E27 main light and the LED reading arm. You can use the reading light on its own without turning on the ambient light, or run both together depending on what you need.

What bulb does the main fitting take?

The drum shade houses a standard E27 bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 6-10W LED bulb at 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light that matches the reading arm's colour temperature.

What's the USB charging output?

The integrated USB port provides standard 5V output suitable for charging phones and tablets overnight. It does not support fast-charge protocols.

Can the reading arm be adjusted after installation?

Yes. The gooseneck reading arm is flexible and can be repositioned at any time to direct light where needed. The arm holds its position once bent but can be adjusted repeatedly without damage.
