Description

The Aeris is a 90cm-wide, 130cm-tall sculptural chandelier built from layered ribbons of black Cristalflex and Lentiflex - two technopolymers that hold a precise extruded profile while remaining lightweight. Seven light sources sit inside the structure: six 12W E27 LEDs arranged around the upper drum and a central 11W LED spot directing light downward through the cascading lower section.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, stairwells, hotel lobbies, and dining rooms with ceilings of 3.5m or above, the Aeris reads as a single suspended sculpture from across a room and reveals its layered ribbon construction at closer range. The 150cm cable length allows installation drop to be set during fitting, and the chandelier hangs from a multi-cable suspension that distributes its 23.5kg weight across the ceiling fixing point.

The black finish absorbs more light than the clear and smoke versions of the same form, so the Aeris in black reads first as silhouette and gradient before the internal lit core becomes apparent. Light escapes through the gaps between ribbons and through the partially translucent polymer itself, producing a directional pool of illumination beneath the chandelier and a softer halo through the upper drum. Each viewing angle reveals different overlap patterns between the ribbon layers.
