Description

The Aegean is a single-arm wall light with a polished brass backplate, curved brass arm and a faceted cut glass drip tray beneath the candle holder. The light takes a single E14 candle bulb (sold separately), positioned vertically above the glass platform. A decorative twisted brass pendant drop hangs below the glass tray, extending the visual line of the fitting downward.

Designed for hallways, staircases, living rooms and bedrooms where wall-mounted accent lighting is needed, the Aegean provides directed upward light that highlights ceilings and cornicing while the polished brass reflects ambient light back into the room. The single-arm configuration suits walls with limited horizontal space, such as either side of a chimney breast or flanking a mirror. The backplate mounts to a standard UK wall box with two fixing points.

The polished brass finish is highly reflective and develops a natural patina over time unless regularly buffed. The cut glass drip tray is faceted to catch and refract candlelight, creating small points of reflected light across the glass surface. The combination of polished metal and cut glass suits traditional, Edwardian and Georgian-inspired interiors, and pairs well with warm colour schemes and wood panelling. The fitting projects approximately 180mm from the wall when mounted.
