Description

The Adn is an 8-light LED wall light from Mantra built around a white epoxy-coated steel framework with eight individual LED modules arranged in a double-helix pattern inspired by DNA structure. Each module houses a 3W LED behind a frosted diffuser, giving a combined 24W output at 1600 lumens and 3000K warm white. The entire fitting measures 370mm wide by 480mm tall with 86mm projection from the wall.

Designed for feature walls in living rooms, hallways, dining areas and creative workspaces, the Adn functions as both practical wall illumination and a sculptural accent. The 110° beam angle from each diffuser spreads light across the wall surface and into the room, creating ambient rather than task light. The non-dimmable LEDs are integrated into the fitting and replaceable individually if one fails, avoiding the need to replace the entire unit.

The white epoxy finish on the metal framework gives a clean, matte appearance that pairs with minimalist, Scandinavian and contemporary interiors without competing with other finishes in the room. At 0.87kg the fitting is light enough to mount on plasterboard with appropriate fixings, though solid wall mounting is preferable for long-term stability. The 100-240V universal voltage input suits UK and international mains without requiring a separate transformer.

Is the Adn dimmable?

No. The integrated LEDs are non-dimmable and operate at full 1600-lumen output when switched on. Pairing this fitting with a dimmer switch will not reduce the light output and may cause flickering or damage to the driver.

Can individual LED modules be replaced?

Yes. Each of the eight LED modules can be replaced individually if one fails, avoiding the need to replace the entire fitting. Replacement modules are available through Mantra's service network.

What wall surface is needed for mounting?

The fitting weighs 0.87kg and can be mounted on plasterboard with appropriate hollow-wall fixings, though solid brick or block walls provide better long-term stability. The backplate requires a flat surface approximately 100mm in diameter.

Is the light directed upwards, downwards or outwards?

Each LED module has a 110° beam angle and is angled slightly outwards from the central stem, directing light both onto the wall surface behind the fitting and out into the room as ambient light rather than focused task light.
