Description

The Adn is a 74cm diameter LED chandelier built around 36 individual warm white LEDs arranged on branching white epoxy-coated arms radiating from a central hub. Each LED sits at the end of a slender stem, some terminating in cone diffusers, others in disc diffusers, creating a molecular or starburst configuration when viewed from below. The integrated LEDs deliver a combined 7250 lumens at 3000K across a 110° beam angle, providing ambient fill rather than directed task light.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, open-plan living areas and commercial lobbies with ceiling heights of 3m or above, the Adn works as both a primary light source and an architectural feature. The adjustable drop between 350mm and 1500mm allows the fitting to be positioned 2-2.5m above floor level in tall rooms or suspended lower over a dining table or reception desk where the sculptural form can be appreciated at closer range. The white epoxy finish reflects rather than absorbs light, amplifying the output across the room.

The branching structure gives the Adn an asymmetric, organic appearance despite being CNC-manufactured metal. The mix of cone and disc diffusers at different heights breaks up the visual mass and prevents the 74cm span from reading as a solid object. At 2.73kg the fitting requires a secure ceiling fixing capable of supporting at least 5kg. The integrated LEDs are non-replaceable but carry a 3-year warranty and an expected 30,000+ hour lifespan. Yes, the integrated LEDs are dimmable when paired with a compatible LED trailing-edge or TRIAC dimmer. Not all dimmers work reliably with LED fixtures, check compatibility with the dimmer manufacturer before installation to avoid flicker or limited dimming range.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 1500mm maximum drop and 74cm diameter suit rooms with ceiling heights of 3m or above. In lower rooms the fitting can be shortened to the 350mm minimum drop, but the visual impact works best where there is vertical space to appreciate the branching form.
