Adn 24 Light Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - Black

The Adn is a 24-light semi-flush ceiling light with branching black metal arms radiating from a central 300mm-tall hub, each arm tipped with an integrated LED module behind a frosted diffuser. The 658mm diameter spread places the 24 light points across a wide ceiling area, creating ambient light distributed evenly across the room rather than concentrated in a single central source.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Adn suits living rooms, dining rooms and open-plan kitchen-diners where a wide light spread is needed without the drop of a pendant. The 300mm projection from ceiling to the lowest point of the canopy makes it appropriate for rooms where a traditional chandelier would feel too low but a simple flush fitting would lack presence. The black arms create a strong geometric silhouette against white or light-painted ceilings, while the frosted diffusers soften the LED glare and distribute 4600lm of 3000K warm white light across a 110° beam angle.

The branching structure is asymmetric in appearance but balanced in weight distribution, with arms of varying lengths positioned to maintain visual rhythm. Each of the 24 LED modules is non-replaceable and integrated into the arm tips, giving a total 72W power draw on 230V mains. The black powder-coated finish on the metal framework gives a matt surface that reduces reflections during the day and emphasises the line work of the arms when the fitting is switched off.

Is the Adn dimmable?

No. The integrated LEDs are non-dimmable and run at fixed 72W output on 230V mains. If dimming is needed, consider a mains-dimmable alternative from the Mantra range or pair the circuit with smart switching instead.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 300mm projection from ceiling to the bottom of the canopy works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Lower ceilings can still accommodate the Adn if headroom beneath the fitting is acceptable, but the visual proportions favour higher spaces.

Can the LEDs be replaced?

No. The 24 LED modules are integrated into the arm tips and are not user-replaceable. The LEDs are rated for 25,000+ hours of operation, which at 4 hours per day equals approximately 17 years of use before significant degradation.

How is the fitting cleaned?

Switch off at the mains and allow the LEDs to cool. Wipe the black metal arms and frosted diffusers with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks on the diffusers, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the LED modules or allowing water into the canopy.
