Description

The Adn is an 11-light LED floor lamp built around a branching white epoxy frame that rises 1580mm from a circular base. Each of the 11 lights sits on a curved arm extending from a central stem, with the integrated LEDs providing a combined 1650lm output at 3000K warm white. The lights are fixed in position and emit at a 110° beam angle, distributing the 30W total load across the entire sculptural form.

Designed as a statement piece for living rooms, lounges and bedrooms with floor space of at least 2m x 2m, the Adn provides ambient light rather than directed task lighting. The branching arrangement creates multiple pools of light at different heights, filling vertical space without requiring a ceiling fitting. The lamp plugs into a standard UK mains socket and the integrated LEDs are non-replaceable, rated at 50,000 hours typical life.

The white epoxy finish on the metal frame presents as a low-gloss surface that reflects some of the LED light without creating harsh glare. The 280mm x 300mm circular base gives sufficient stability for the 1.58m height, though the lamp is best placed away from high-traffic areas where the extended arms could be knocked. At 2.5kg the frame is light enough to move between rooms but substantial enough not to tip on carpet or hard floors.

No. The LEDs are integrated into the frame and are not user-replaceable. The LED modules are rated at 50,000 hours typical life, equivalent to approximately 17 years at 8 hours per day use.

What room size does it suit?

The Adn works in rooms with floor space of at least 2m x 2m and ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The 1580mm height and 280-300mm footprint need clear space around the lamp to avoid the branching arms being knocked.

How much light does it provide compared to a traditional floor lamp?
