Description

The Adn is a 100cm linear pendant light built around twelve integrated LED modules arranged along a narrow matt black metal frame. Each LED casts warm 3000K light through a circular acrylic diffuser, with the modules set at alternating angles along the rail to create a staggered rhythm of light points. The twelve LEDs combine to deliver 2150 lumens across a 110° beam angle, providing functional illumination rather than focused task light.

Designed for positioning above kitchen islands, dining tables and reception desks, the Adn suits spaces where a linear fitting of 1m length provides better coverage than a single central pendant. The adjustable drop of 300-1500mm allows the light to be set between 600-900mm above a worktop or 700-800mm above a dining table depending on ceiling height. The matt black frame measures just 70mm wide, keeping the visual profile slim when viewed from the side.

The staggered LED arrangement means the light spreads both downward and outward rather than creating a single downward beam. This makes the Adn more suited to ambient and general task lighting than precise directional work. The frame mounts to a rectangular ceiling plate that fits standard UK ceiling roses and conceals the cable run. At 1.26kg the fitting is light enough for plasterboard ceilings without additional bracing.

The integrated LEDs are not user-replaceable and are rated for the lifespan of the fitting under normal domestic use. The fitting is not dimmable and operates on standard 220-240V mains supply. Mantra provides a 3-year warranty covering manufacturing defects.

No. The integrated LEDs operate at fixed brightness on standard 220-240V mains supply and are not compatible with dimmer switches.

What height above a table should it be hung?

For a dining table or kitchen island, hang the Adn 700-800mm above the surface. This allows clearance for heads and arms while keeping the light effective. The drop is adjustable between 300mm and 1500mm during installation to suit different ceiling heights.

Can the LEDs be replaced if they fail?

No. The LEDs are integrated into the frame and are not user-replaceable. They are rated for the lifespan of the fitting under normal domestic use. Mantra provides a 3-year warranty covering LED failure due to manufacturing defects.
