Description
This adjustable spotlight from the Aret range is a recessed steel fitting for a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, with the bulb supplied separately. The round front tilts through 15 degrees, so the light can be angled away from straight-down once the fitting is set into the ceiling. With a 97mm overall diameter and a slim 24mm depth, it sits close to the ceiling line rather than dropping below it.
Because the head pivots, this fitting suits picture and feature lighting where the beam needs aiming rather than fixed downlight. Tilt it to graze a painting, a textured wall or an alcove, or angle several across a run to pick out a shelf or a worktop edge. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms only, so keep it to living spaces, hallways, bedrooms and the like, clear of bathrooms and any exposed outdoor position.
The housing is steel in a matt brass finish, recessed through a standard 80mm cut-out so the trim finishes flush with the ceiling. It takes any GU10 lamp up to 10W, letting you set the brightness and tone by your choice of bulb. The bulb is not included, and whether the fitting can be dimmed depends entirely on the lamp you fit and the dimmer it is paired with.

Frequently Asked
Is a bulb included?
No, this fitting is supplied without a lamp. It accepts a separate GU10 twist-lock bulb of up to 10W, which you choose and buy to suit the brightness and colour you want.
What size hole does it need?
It is a recessed fitting designed for an 80mm cut-out. Cut the hole to that diameter and the 97mm trim sits flush against the ceiling once the spring clips are engaged.
How far does the head tilt?
The head adjusts through 15 degrees, letting you angle the beam off vertical. That is enough to aim light at a wall, a painting or a feature rather than only straight down.
Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoors?
No, it is rated IP20, which means dry indoor use only. Keep it out of bathrooms, kitchens near sinks and any outdoor or exposed location.
