Description

The Acanto is a 48cm 3-light chandelier built on three curved polished chrome arms that radiate from a central column, each arm supporting a crystal-cut pan beneath a black silk clip-on shade. The chandelier takes three E14 bulbs (sold separately) and hangs on an adjustable chain with a drop between 700mm and 1450mm depending on ceiling height and room proportions.

Designed for dining spaces, entrance halls and bedrooms where ceiling height allows the chandelier to sit 600-800mm above a table or 2.1m or higher above floor level, the Acanto pairs ambient and decorative function. The crystal-cut pans catch and reflect light from the bulbs inside the shades, adding movement and sparkle when the chandelier is lit. The black silk shades direct light downwards while the polished chrome reflects ambient light from other sources in the room.

The 480mm diameter makes the Acanto compact enough for rooms with 3-4m ceilings and tables up to 1.5m wide, while the 3.5kg weight provides presence without requiring additional ceiling reinforcement beyond a standard UK ceiling rose and fixing hook. The chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, allowing light levels to be adjusted for different times of day. The chandelier takes three E14 small Edison screw bulbs, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for dining and bedroom use. The chandelier is rated for 220-240V mains voltage.

Yes, when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The chandelier itself does not contain dimming circuitry, so both the bulbs and the wall dimmer must be rated for LED dimming if using LED bulbs.
