Description

The Knightsbridge NCLB14 is a 4ft single-tube T8 LED-ready batten fitting housed in a grey impact-resistant polycarbonate body with a prismatic polycarbonate diffuser. Rated IP65, the fitting is sealed against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making it suitable for warehouses, workshops, car parks, food preparation areas and outdoor covered walkways. The fitting is pre-wired for LED T8 tubes without a ballast or driver — it accepts self-ballasted LED tubes that run directly from 230V mains.

Designed for surface mounting on ceilings and walls in industrial, commercial and agricultural environments, the fitting measures 1263mm in length and projects 90mm from the mounting surface once installed. The polycarbonate construction resists impacts and does not corrode when exposed to moisture, making it more durable than steel battens in high-humidity or coastal environments. The prismatic diffuser spreads light evenly while protecting the tube from physical damage.

The fitting is supplied without a tube — you will need to purchase a compatible T8 LED tube separately. Most 1200mm T8 LED tubes are compatible, but check the tube specification to confirm it is designed for direct mains connection (self-ballasted) rather than requiring a separate driver. The fitting carries Class I earthing and a 3-year warranty from Knightsbridge.
