4ft CCT & Power Adjustable LED Batten - White

A 4ft LED batten with two things you choose at installation rather than at the point of order: the colour of the white light it gives, and the power it runs at. One code therefore covers several outputs and several shades of white, which is why a selectable batten is a useful thing to keep in the van or on the shelf. The light source is built into the fitting, so there is no separate tube to buy now or to replace later. The body is white, with a long translucent diffuser running its length and a rounded end cap.

Battens are surface mounted, fixed straight onto a ceiling or a wall, and this length suits a single or double garage bay, a workshop bench, a utility room, a store cupboard, a loft or a stockroom behind a shop counter. The diffuser spreads the output rather than throwing it in a tight cone, so the light lands evenly across a floor or a worktop instead of leaving hard pools. What does the CCT setting change about the light in the room?

It changes the shade of white. A warmer setting looks softer and more domestic, a cooler one looks crisper and helps with close work, sorting and colour matching. The manufacturer does not state which colour temperatures this fitting offers, so set it in your hands and look at it before fixing.

Can I put it on a dimmer switch?
