Description

The Knightsbridge SUR5LED is a 45W LED luminaire measuring 1500mm x 200mm x 45mm, built around a pressed steel housing with an opal polycarbonate diffuser. The integrated SMD LED array delivers 4790 lumens at 4000K cool white with a 110° beam angle, providing even, low-glare illumination across workspaces, corridors and retail floors. The luminaire can be surface-mounted directly to ceilings or suspended using an optional suspension kit (sold separately).

Designed for commercial, educational, healthcare and retail installations, the SUR5LED replaces older T8 fluorescent battens with a more energy-efficient LED equivalent that requires no lamp replacement over its 50,000-hour L70B50 lifespan. The low 45mm profile suits spaces with restricted ceiling voids or visual height constraints, while the 133.97 lm/W efficacy meets current Eco Design and ErP requirements. Push-fit terminals allow loop-in/loop-out wiring without the need for separate junction boxes, reducing installation time on multi-luminaire runs.

The pressed steel construction provides structural rigidity and heat dissipation for the LED array, while the opal diffuser softens the light output to reduce glare on screens and polished surfaces. The luminaire carries an IP20 rating for indoor dry locations and a Class I earth connection. The non-dimmable constant-current driver operates on 230V 50Hz mains and the unit is backed by a 5-year warranty. The white finish pairs neutrally with commercial ceiling tiles, plasterboard and suspended grid systems.

No. The SUR5LED uses a non-dimmable constant-current driver and does not support dimmer switches or 0-10V dimming protocols.

What is the equivalent fluorescent wattage this replaces?

How is the luminaire mounted?
