Description

The Knightsbridge 45W LED dual mount fitting is a 1500mm linear batten in grey pressed steel and polypropylene, housing an integrated SMD LED array that delivers 4200lm at 4000K cool white. The fitting can be surface-mounted directly to ceilings or suspended using an optional suspension kit (sold separately), giving flexibility for different ceiling types and installation contexts.

Designed for commercial and institutional use in offices, schools, retail spaces and healthcare facilities, the fitting meets current Eco Design and ErP standards and carries Class I electrical rating with IP20 ingress protection for dry indoor environments. The 110° beam angle provides wide-angle distribution suited to general area lighting rather than task-focused applications. Loop-in/loop-out push-fit terminals allow daisy-chaining multiple fittings on a single circuit without additional junction boxes.

The opal polypropylene diffuser softens the LED output to reduce glare while maintaining the 4200lm fixture output (from a 6550lm light source). The grey finish suits neutral commercial palettes and modern industrial-style interiors. At 1500mm length and 200mm width the fitting provides linear coverage over desks, counters, corridors and general workspace areas. The constant current driver is integrated into the body, with a 50,000-hour L70B50 rating and a 5-year manufacturer warranty.

Is this dimmable?

No. The integrated constant current driver does not support dimming. If dimming is required for your project, please contact us to discuss alternative Knightsbridge LED batten options.

Can it be suspended from the ceiling?

Yes. The fitting can be surface-mounted or suspended using an optional suspension kit (sold separately). The suspension kit allows the fitting to hang from ceiling cable, suited to open-plan offices and retail spaces with exposed ceilings.

What does the L70B50 rating mean?

L70B50 at 50,000 hours means that after 50,000 hours of operation, at least 50% of a batch of these fittings will still produce at least 70% of their initial light output. At typical commercial use (12 hours/day), that's approximately 11 years before noticeable degradation.

Is it suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use?

No. The IP20 rating is for dry indoor environments only. The fitting is not protected against moisture ingress and should not be used in bathrooms, wet rooms, or outdoor locations.
