Description

The Knightsbridge 45A DP switch controls cookers, ovens and other high-draw appliances up to 10,350W on a 230V circuit. The double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when off, providing full electrical isolation for maintenance and cleaning. A red neon indicator at the top of the faceplate shows when the circuit is live, giving visual confirmation of the switch state.

Designed for kitchen installation where cooker control is required, the switch mounts in a standard 47mm minimum back box and sits 2.5mm proud of the wall once fitted. The polished brass faceplate uses Knightsbridge's ultra-flat profile design with a built-in gasket behind the plate edge, preventing plaster dust and debris from entering the back box over time. The 1-gang format fits the same wall space as a standard light switch.

The polished brass finish provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with traditional, classical and warm-toned contemporary kitchens. The premium-grade steel construction carries a 25-year warranty. The faceplate is secured with two visible fixing screws — this is not a screwless model. The 45A rating handles the combined load of multiple cooking appliances on the same circuit, provided total draw stays within the rated capacity.
