This Knightsbridge 45A DP cooker switch and 13A switched socket combines a dual-pole cooker switch rated at 45A with a standard 13A switched socket outlet, both housed in a single white curved-edge faceplate. Both switch positions carry red neon indicators that glow when the circuit is live, providing visible confirmation that the cooker circuit or socket is powered. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the cooker switch is in the off position.

Designed for kitchen installation where a cooker circuit and a standard appliance socket are needed at the same wall position, the unit fits a standard UK back box with a minimum depth of 47mm. The 7mm curved-edge plate projects minimally from the wall and includes screw cap covers to conceal fixings once installed. The white thermoset resin construction carries anti-microbial properties tested to ISO 22196:2011, reducing bacterial growth on the surface in high-touch kitchen environments.

The laser-printed markings ('ON' indicators and 'COOKER' text) resist wear and fading better than traditional pad printing, maintaining clarity over the 25-year warranty period.
