Description

This Knightsbridge 45A 1-gang DP cooker switch combines a 45A isolator for cooker circuits with a 13A switched socket and two USB-A charging ports behind a brushed chrome faceplate with a black insert. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the cooker circuit is switched off, providing full isolation for maintenance or appliance replacement.

Designed for kitchen installation adjacent to cooker or hob positions, the unit provides control of the high-draw cooker circuit while adding a 13A socket for kettle, toaster or small appliances and two USB-A ports for phone or tablet charging without taking up plug space. The 45A rating handles cooker loads up to 10.35kW on a 230V supply. The 13A socket operates independently of the cooker switch and handles standard appliance loads up to 3,120W.

The brushed chrome finish is 430 stainless steel with a directional brushed texture that resists fingerprints and pairs with most kitchen appliance finishes. The black insert behind the faceplate hides the back of the plate and gives defined edges to each aperture. The square-edge plate sits flat to the wall with minimal projection. The unit requires a 47mm minimum back box depth and is certified to BS 4177 (cooker control units), BS 1363-2 (socket outlets) and EN 62368-1 (USB charging).
