Description

The Knightsbridge 40W LED dual mount slim line fitting is a 1500mm linear luminaire in a grey pressed steel and polypropylene housing, designed as a direct replacement for fluorescent batten fittings in commercial and institutional settings. The integrated SMD LED array delivers 3010lm at 4000K cool white through an opal polypropylene diffuser, providing even distribution across a 115° beam angle.

Built for surface or suspended mounting, the fitting measures 1500mm × 145mm × 45mm and works in offices, educational corridors, healthcare waiting areas and retail back-of-house spaces where ceiling heights are limited or where a clean linear profile is needed. The dual mounting option allows the fitting to be fixed directly to a ceiling surface using the integral mounting points, or suspended on optional suspension kits where a drop-mount installation is required. Push-fit terminals and loop-in/loop-out wiring speed up installation across multi-fitting runs.

The grey powder-coated finish on the steel housing blends into industrial and modern commercial interiors without the visual weight of older fluorescent trough fittings. The opal diffuser hides the LED strip from view and softens the light output to reduce glare on screens and work surfaces. At 40W input for 3010lm output, the fitting runs at 75lm/W system efficacy, meeting current Eco Design and ErP requirements for commercial LED luminaires. The non-dimmable driver operates on 230V 50Hz mains.

Rated IP20 Class I, the fitting is designed for dry indoor environments only. The L70B50 rating of 50,000 hours indicates the LED will retain at least 70% of its initial output after approximately 22 years of 6-hour daily operation, reducing the frequency of lamp replacement in hard-to-reach ceiling locations.

No. The integrated LED driver is non-dimmable and operates at fixed output on 230V 50Hz mains. Pairing with a dimmer switch will not function and may damage the driver.
