Description
This Knightsbridge 4-light ceiling spotlight plate mounts four independently adjustable GU10 spotlight heads onto a circular antique brass pressed steel plate with a 175mm diameter. Each cylindrical head tilts through 90° and rotates through 350°, allowing light to be directed onto artwork, shelving, feature walls or task surfaces from a single ceiling fixing point.
Designed for kitchens, hallways, retail display areas and office spaces where multiple directed beams are needed without installing separate track systems, the quad plate fits a standard UK ceiling rose and connects to mains 230V wiring. The four GU10 fittings accept either halogen or LED bulbs up to 50W each (bulbs sold separately), giving flexibility to choose the beam angle, colour temperature and lumen output that suits the application. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific GU10 bulb installed.
The antique brass finish is brushed and lightly darkened to simulate aged brass, providing a warmer, less reflective surface than polished brass and pairing well with traditional, transitional and industrial interiors. The pressed steel construction keeps the unit lightweight at under 400g while maintaining rigidity when the heads are angled. Each spotlight head projects approximately 125mm from the ceiling plate when angled outward, so rooms with ceiling heights below 2.3m may find the fitting visually intrusive depending on placement.

Frequently Asked
Does this come with GU10 bulbs?
No. The quad plate accepts four GU10 bulbs up to 50W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with 5-7W LED GU10 bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for accent lighting, or daylight white (4000K-5000K) for task lighting in kitchens and offices.
Can the spotlight heads be dimmed?
Dimming depends on the GU10 bulbs installed. If you fit dimmable LED GU10 bulbs and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer switch, the fitting will dim. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if connected to a dimmer circuit.
What ceiling height is needed?
The fitting projects approximately 125mm from the ceiling when the heads are angled outward. Rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above generally accommodate the quad plate without it feeling intrusive. Lower ceilings can still work if the plate is positioned away from the main walkthrough area.
Can it be installed in a bathroom?
The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture ingress, so it is not suitable for bathroom zones 1, 2 or 3 where water spray or condensation is present. It can be installed in a bathroom outside the defined zones, typically more than 2.25m from the bath or shower enclosure.
