Description
This 4 Channel LED Amplifier is a small white control module for LED strip lighting. An LED amplifier takes the signal from a controller and passes it on with fresh power, so a longer run of strip, or a second run, can follow the same commands as the first. With four channels, it carries up to four separate colour channels of a strip together. It measures 11.9cm long, 4.7cm wide and 2.3cm high, and weighs just 0.08KG. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors and dry, kept well away from damp. It has no lamp socket and gives no light of its own; it works alongside your strip and controller as part of the system.
It suits anyone running LED strip a long way, such as under kitchen cabinets, along a hallway cove or around living room shelving, where a single controller struggles to keep the far end as bright and true in colour as the near end. Adding one partway along the run keeps the whole length even, and every section changes together when you choose a new colour or scene. Because it is so compact, it tucks easily inside a cupboard, behind a pelmet or in a dry ceiling void, so it stays out of sight once the lighting is finished.
The white case has green screw connector blocks at both ends, with the four channels clearly marked, and a slotted fixing tab at each end so it sits flat and firm. Being white, it blends into a pale cupboard interior or ceiling. Care is simple: keep it dry and dust it now and then with a soft, dry cloth. Our practical note: check that its ratings match your LED strip and controller before you order, so all three work together from the first switch-on.

Frequently Asked
What does a 4 channel LED amplifier do?
It takes the signal from your LED controller and passes it on with fresh power, so a longer or second run of strip follows the same colours and scenes.
Can the amplifier go in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. It is rated IP20, so it belongs indoors in a dry place, such as a cupboard, behind a pelmet or in a dry ceiling void.
How big is the amplifier?
It is 11.9cm long, 4.7cm wide and 2.3cm high, and weighs 0.08KG, so it hides easily inside a cupboard or behind a pelmet.
Does it give any light itself?
No. It has no lamp socket and gives no light of its own; it works between your controller and your LED strip.
What colour is the case?
The case is white, with green screw connector blocks at each end, so it blends quietly into a pale cupboard interior or ceiling.
What care does the amplifier need?
Very little: keep it dry and dust it now and then with a soft, dry cloth to keep the case clean.
