Description

The Maytoni Trinity right T-shaped connector joins three sections of 3-phase surface-mounted track at a right-angle T-junction, maintaining electrical continuity across all three phases through the intersection. The connector body is moulded from black plastic with internal copper contacts rated for AC 220-240V, allowing track lighting heads to draw power from any of the three phases regardless of which arm of the T they're positioned on.

Designed for commercial retail, gallery and hospitality installations where track runs need to branch at right angles, the connector allows a single circuit to feed track sections running in perpendicular directions without additional junction boxes or wiring. The 16.6cm length along the straight-through axis and 9.9cm width on the branching arm accommodate standard Maytoni Trinity track profiles, with the 3.2cm height sitting flush against ceiling or wall surfaces when surface-mounted.

The black finish integrates with black track systems without visible joins or colour breaks at the junction point. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments where the connector is protected from direct water contact. Installation involves sliding the connector onto the cut ends of three track sections and securing with the locking clips visible in the connector's profile channels, creating a rigid junction that supports the weight of track heads mounted on any of the three arms.

What's the difference between a right T and a left T connector?

The orientation of the branching arm. A right T-connector has the perpendicular branch extending to the right when you're looking along the straight-through axis. If your track layout requires the branch to extend left instead, you need the left T version. Check your ceiling plan before ordering.

Is this compatible with single-phase track systems?

No. This connector is designed specifically for Maytoni Trinity 3-phase track systems. Using it with single-phase or incompatible track profiles will result in poor contact, electrical discontinuity and potential safety issues.

Can it be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the connector is only suitable for dry indoor locations with no exposure to water spray, high humidity or outdoor weather. For wet or outdoor installations, track systems with higher IP ratings are required.

How is it installed onto the track?

The connector slides onto the cut ends of three track sections and locks into place using the spring clips inside the connector body. Refer to the product manual in the Downloads tab for the full installation procedure and safety precautions.
