Description

Three glass shades in the wine shape hang close under a round antique gold plate, each one a different tone: amber, clear and smoke. It reads as one soft cluster rather than three separate lights, and the tinted glass gives the light a slight honey warmth while the clear shade lets the lamp show plainly. Across 40cm it spreads light widely for something that sits so shallow against the ceiling, which is the whole point of a fitting like this.

We reach for it in rooms where a pendant would hang too low to live with: hallways and landings, a bedroom with a modest ceiling height, a small dining area over a round table, the top of a stairwell. It takes three E27 lamps of up to 20W each, so you can balance brightness against the tint of the glass, and it will dim if you pair suitable lamps with a compatible dimmer.
