Description

The Knightsbridge 2-gang small multimedia combo plate combines two 13A DP switched sockets with one USB-A and one USB-C fast-charge port, plus four modular apertures for Euro-style signal inserts (25 x 50mm). The shared 5V DC 4.0A output supports fast-charge protocols including USB Power Delivery and Quick Charge 3.0, charging compatible devices to 50% in approximately 30 minutes when the battery level is below 70%.

Designed for home offices, media rooms and smart home installations where power and AV connectivity need to be grouped in a single fitting, the plate accepts up to four standard Euro modules for HDMI, RJ45 Ethernet, coaxial, audio jacks or blanking plates. The 13A sockets carry twin earth terminals and dual-pole switching, isolating both live and neutral when switched off. The USB ports sit between the two socket positions, providing easy access for charging cables without blocking either outlet.

The screwless brushed chrome faceplate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, hiding all fixing screws behind the cover. The black insert behind the chrome faceplate gives contrast to each aperture and hides the back of the cover plate. The 201 stainless steel construction with brushed finish resists fingerprints and pairs well with contemporary and industrial interiors. Internal safety features protect against overvoltage, overheating and short circuits, and the 0.1W standby power draw minimises energy use when no devices are connected.

The plate requires a minimum 35mm back box depth and projects 9.5mm from the wall when installed. The modular apertures are left blank when shipped — Euro modules are purchased separately depending on the signal connections required. For best fast-charge performance, use certified USB cables rated for the charge protocol of your device.

What's the USB fast-charge output?
