Description

The Knightsbridge SFR994MW is a 2-gang multimedia combo plate combining two 13A double-pole switched sockets, dual USB fast-charge ports (one USB-A, one USB-C), and four 25x50mm Euro module slots behind a matt white screwless faceplate. The USB ports share a 5V DC 4.0A output and support USB-PD and QC3.0 protocols, delivering up to 18W fast charging for compatible devices. The Euro module slots accept standard 25x50mm inserts for HDMI, Cat6, coaxial, 3.5mm audio or blank plates.

Designed for home offices, media centres and hotel rooms where power, charging and AV connectivity need to sit in a single-gang format, the combo plate condenses what would normally require multiple separate faceplates into one 147.5x180mm footprint. The double-pole switching on the sockets isolates both live and neutral when switched off, providing additional safety for high-draw appliances. The USB ports intelligently switch between 5V and 12V output to match device requirements, and include overload and overheat protection as standard.

The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate SPCC steel sub-frame fixed to the back box, hiding all fixings and providing a clean finish when installed. The matt white powder-coat finish pairs with white, off-white and neutral-toned interiors, and the built-in gasket provides a close fit against the wall. A minimum 35mm back box depth is required to accommodate the recessed depth of the module frame and USB charging circuitry behind the faceplate.

The four slots accept any standard 25x50mm Euro module inserts including HDMI, Cat6 Ethernet, coaxial TV, 3.5mm audio jacks, phone sockets or blank plates. Modules are sold separately and clip into the frame without tools.

What is the USB fast-charge output?

The dual USB ports share a 5V DC 4.0A output, delivering up to 18W per port when a single device is connected. The ports support USB-PD (Power Delivery) and QC3.0 (Quick Charge 3.0) protocols, intelligently switching voltage to match the connected device. Most devices limit fast charging to 0-70% battery capacity and revert to standard charging above that threshold.

What back box depth is required?

A minimum 35mm back box depth is needed to accommodate the module frame and USB charging circuitry. The plate projects 9.5mm from the wall once installed.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The matt white cover plate clips onto a separate steel sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the socket and re-clipped without re-wiring.
