Description

The Knightsbridge SFR994MBB is a 2-gang multimedia combo plate combining two 13A DP switched sockets, dual USB fast charging ports (one USB-C, one USB-A), and four 25x50mm Euro module insert slots behind a matt black screwless faceplate. The USB ports deliver up to 18W output via QC3.0 or USB Power Delivery protocols, with dynamic voltage switching between 5V and 12V depending on the connected device.

Designed for media walls, home offices, hotel suites and smart home installations where power, USB charging and AV signal distribution need to be combined in a single mounting point, the plate accepts standard 25x50mm Euro modules for HDMI, Ethernet, coaxial, optical audio or other signal types. The four modular insert slots sit between the two mains sockets and the USB ports, allowing a custom configuration of inputs to be built into the plate without requiring separate faceplates.

The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate SPCC steel sub-frame fixed to a 35mm minimum back box depth, giving a flat finish with no visible fixings on the wall. The matt black powder-coated finish resists fingerprints better than polished finishes and pairs with contemporary, industrial and monochrome interiors. The USB charging circuit includes thermal and overload protection, and the plate is ErP Ready to reduce standby power draw when devices are not connected.

The dual-pole switching on the mains sockets isolates both live and neutral lines when switched off, providing additional safety for high-draw appliances. Each 13A socket carries twin earth terminals for reliable grounding. The plate is built to current BS standards and rated IP20 for indoor installation in dry locations.

A 35mm minimum back box depth is needed for safe installation. The screwless cover plate adds 9.5mm of projection from the wall once fitted, giving a total depth of 31.7mm from the back of the sub-frame to the front of the faceplate.

What are the four modular insert slots for?

The plate accepts standard 25x50mm Euro modules for HDMI, Ethernet, coaxial, optical audio, or other AV and data connections. Modules are sold separately and clip into the plate, allowing a custom configuration of signal inputs to be built into the same faceplate as the mains sockets and USB ports.

What is the USB fast charge output?
