Description
The Knightsbridge 2-gang modular faceplate accepts two 25 x 50mm euro modules or one 50 x 50mm euro module, allowing custom configurations of TV, data, HDMI, USB, telephone or other euro-standard inserts behind a single brushed chrome plate. The faceplate is constructed from steel with a brushed chrome finish and rounded edges that soften the profile against the wall.
Designed for residential AV installations, office data points and hospitality rooms where custom connectivity is needed without pre-configured socket layouts, the modular format means each installation can be tailored to the exact combination of inputs required. The euro modules (sold separately) clip into the apertures and are held secure by the faceplate's gasket seal. The 85.75mm square footprint matches standard double-gang spacing and fits UK 25mm back boxes with appropriate depth for the chosen modules.
The brushed chrome finish provides a mid-tone metallic surface that pairs with both warm and cool interiors, and the directional brush grain reduces fingerprint visibility compared to polished chrome. The rounded edge design adds 7.5mm projection from the wall and creates a softer transition than sharp-edged plates, particularly on painted plaster surfaces. The faceplate carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use and includes an earth terminal for Class I earthing.

Frequently Asked
What euro modules fit this faceplate?
The plate accepts two 25 x 50mm euro modules side by side, or one 50 x 50mm module. Common options include HDMI, USB, RJ45 data, coaxial TV, telephone and blank modules. Modules are sold separately and clip into the apertures behind the faceplate.
What back box depth is required?
The faceplate itself adds 7.5mm projection, but the required back box depth depends on the specific euro modules used. Most data and AV modules need a minimum 35mm back box, with some requiring 47mm. Check the module specifications before installation.
Is the faceplate screwed to the wall?
Yes. The plate uses visible screws at the top and bottom to fix to the mounting box lugs. The rounded edge design and brushed chrome finish partially de-emphasise the screw heads, but they remain visible once fitted.
What other finishes are available in this range?
Knightsbridge produces this modular faceplate style in multiple finishes including polished chrome, matt black, white, antique brass and others. Use the Niori search function to find other variants in stock.
