Description

Dark green makes a power point look considered rather than apologetic. This is a double 13A socket with a rocker switch on each side and USB-A charging built into the plate, so a phone or a tablet can be topped up without giving up a plug position. The plate is screwless, so the front sits flat with no visible fixings to catch the eye, and the rockers and the charging surrounds are picked out in chrome, which keeps the detail legible against the deep green ground. Charging output is shared across both ports.

It earns its place where a socket is on show and permanently in use: above a kitchen worktop, beside a bed, at the end of a desk, or on the return wall of a home office where chargers otherwise sprawl. The switched halves mean an appliance can be isolated at the plate rather than unplugged, which suits kettles, lamps and anything that lives on a work surface.
