Pink is not the usual choice for a power point, and that is rather the point here. This is a double 13A socket with a screwless front plate, the bold pink face broken only by a chrome insert around the rocker switches. Each rocker carries a neon indicator, so a glance tells you whether that side is live. Beneath them sit four USB-A charging ports, with 10W shared between each pair: right for phones, earbuds and e-readers, and best not asked to run a laptop.

We would fit this where sockets and chargers compete for the same corner: a bedside table with no room for a plug-in adaptor, the end of a desk, a kitchen worktop where a tablet props up the recipe.
