Description

Orange is not a colour that hides, and that is rather the point of this one. The plate is a screwless design, so the front clips over a concealed frame and presents a clean face with no visible fixings, and the chrome rockers sit brightly against the colour. It is a two gang two way switch, with a rocker for each lighting circuit on a single plate, and the action has the familiar positive click under the thumb. The plate is 88mm square, the usual footprint for a plate of this kind, and the moulding is shallow enough to read as a neat block of colour.

We would reach for this where the controls are meant to be part of the scheme rather than disappear into it: a studio, a workshop, a hallway painted with some nerve, a child's bedroom where switching on the light is half the fun.
