Description

The Knightsbridge SFR994BCW is a 2-gang 13A DP switched socket with dual USB fast-charge ports (USB-A and USB-C) and a four-module multimedia panel, all behind a brushed chrome screwless faceplate with white inserts. The socket section provides two double-pole switched outlets rated at 13A each, while the USB ports deliver up to 18W combined output (5V DC 4.0A shared) using Knightsbridge FASTCHARGE technology, supporting USB-PD and QC3.0 protocols. The multimedia panel accepts up to four 25x50mm Euro modules (sold separately) for TV, network, HDMI, or telecom connections.

Designed for living rooms, home offices, hotel rooms and kitchens where power and AV connectivity converge in one fitting, the plate reduces the need for multiple separate faceplates and simplifies cable management behind the wall. The screwless cover clips onto a metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, leaving no visible screws on the wall surface. The built-in gasket on the cover plate improves dust resistance and gives a cleaner edge around the aperture. The 35mm minimum back box depth accommodates the dual USB module and wiring for both power and multimedia inserts.

The brushed chrome finish is 201 stainless steel with a directional grain, providing a mid-tone metallic accent that pairs with both warm and cool interiors. The white inserts behind the sockets and USB ports provide contrast and hide the back of the cover plate. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when off, providing additional safety over single-pole designs. The USB ports deliver optimised fast charging between 0-70% battery capacity, dropping to standard charge rates above 70% to protect device longevity. Standby consumption is rated at 0.1W (ErP Ready).

Yes. The brushed chrome cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting or wallpapering around the fitting and re-clipped without disturbing the wiring or multimedia modules.
