Description

This ceramic keepsake box holds a 1st confirmation certificate and gives it a safe, fitting home. It is a long, slim rectangular box in white with a lid and a printed design. The word "Confirmation" runs in flowing gold script across the centre of the lid, with the words "FOLLOW AND GROW IN THE GRACE OF OUR LORD" in small gold capitals beneath. At one end sits a gold cross wrapped in a green leafy sprig. At the other end is a soft white dove carrying a small green branch. The box measures 22.5cm long, 4cm tall and 4cm deep. It is slender enough to lie neatly on a shelf or in a drawer without taking up much room.

We think it makes a thoughtful confirmation gift, giving the certificate a proper home from the moment it is presented. The quiet white and gold colours sit easily in a bedroom, on a dresser or a bookshelf, or alongside other keepsakes. The slim shape also means it can be tucked into a drawer or memory box until it is wanted. Because the words and symbols on the lid say exactly what it holds, the occasion stays clear for years to come, long after the day itself has passed.

The box is ceramic with a printed finish, and its lid closes over the base to keep the certificate tucked safely inside. Care is simple. Dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe it gently with a damp cloth and dry it straight away. Avoid anything abrasive on the printed lid so the gold lettering stays crisp. As with any ceramic, keep it where it will not be knocked from a shelf edge. For gifting, give it with a card before the service, so it is waiting and ready for the day.
