Description

The Knightsbridge 1m track lighting kit provides three adjustable GU10 spotlight heads on a white aluminium track rail. Each head rotates 350° and tilts 80°, allowing light to be directed at worktops, wall art, shelving or seating areas independently. The kit includes a 1m circuit track, live and dead end connectors, and three white bullet-style spotlight heads.

Designed for kitchens, hallways, home offices and living rooms where ceiling-mounted directional light is needed without fixed downlight positions, the track mounts to a standard ceiling via the included fixings. The GU10 lamp bases accept any standard GU10 LED or halogen bulb up to 50W per head (bulbs sold separately), giving flexibility to choose colour temperature and beam angle based on room use.

The white powder-coated aluminium track measures 1m long, 57mm wide and projects 172mm from the ceiling when the heads are fitted. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments. Each spotlight head has a 58mm diameter finned heat sink that dissipates bulb heat and gives the kit a functional industrial appearance that works in both modern and converted loft-style interiors.

The track can be extended with additional 1m or 2m sections (sold separately) if more length or additional heads are needed, and the system supports both live-end and dead-end termination depending on whether power feeds from one end or mid-track. Installation requires connection to mains 230V supply via a qualified electrician.

What bulbs does it take?

Each head takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 50W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users fit LED GU10 bulbs between 4-7W in warm white (2700K-3000K) for general lighting or cool white (4000K) for task lighting in kitchens and offices.

Can the track be extended?

Yes. The track system supports additional 1m or 2m sections and extra spotlight heads, available separately. Tracks connect via straight or corner joiners depending on the layout needed.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulb fitted. Dimmable GU10 LED bulbs paired with a compatible LED dimmer will dim. Non-dimmable LEDs or halogen bulbs on a standard switch will not.

How much adjustment do the heads have?

Each head rotates 350° around the track rail and tilts 80° from vertical, allowing light to be aimed at worktops, walls, or angled down for reading positions without repositioning the track itself.
